Hannah Hidalgo has been one of the stories of the season for the high-flying Notre Dame Fighting Irish this season. Hence, it of course came as a massive shock to everyone when they didn’t see the guard who has been averaging 25.7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game this season in the starting lineup against Clemson.
Well, now we know the reason! A Notre Dame spokesperson released a statement saying. “She (Hidalgo) rolled her ankle late in the last game (against Wake Forest), and we just want to give her a bit of extra rest and make sure she’s 100% for the rest of the season.”
How did no one tell me Hidalgo wasn’t playing today. Be better friends

This will be the first game she has missed in her entire collegiate career. She has been replaced by Cassandre Prosper in the starting five for the game against Clemson.
