The exodus continues for Deion Sanders-led Colorado Buffaloes, as multiple star players enter the transfer portal. Following Dylan Edwards, a former four-star recruit from Kansas, cornerback Cormani McClain, a former five-star prospect, Omarion Cooper, the former starting defensive back for the Colorado Buffaloes, has decided to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, seeking new opportunities elsewhere.

Cooper, who spent only one single season with the Buffaloes, showcased his skills as a standout cornerback, appearing in nine games and starting in eight. Despite missing the last three games of the season, he still managed to tally 37 total tackles, including two tackles for loss. Additionally, he contributed 5 pass deflections, a sack, and a forced fumble. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, Cooper, originally from Florida State, was highly regarded as one of the nation’s top defensive backs in the 2021 recruiting class. As he embarks on his final collegiate year, Cooper may explore opportunities closer to his home state of Florida.
