The Winter Cup Day 2 commenced for the Senior Women on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at the Senior Women’s Competition – All-around & events. Tokyo Olympics All-Around champion Suni Lee is making her grand comeback after months of sitting out of competition. However, before her debut, Suni faced a scary moment.
Suni wasn't planning to do dismount during warmup and was just going to walk off beam but her foot slipped right at end and she tumbled onto the mat. She gets up laughing and Jess is laughing, too.

A post on X by a handle called Nancy Armour highlighted, “Suni wasn’t planning to do a dismount during warmup and was just going to walk off the beam, but her foot slipped right at the end and she tumbled onto the mat.” Despite the unexpected fall, both Suni and Jess, likely a teammate or coach, found the situation amusing and laughed it off.
